You ain't fooling anyone!
Those of us who garden know there are many insects who pose as honeybees or yellow jackets as a means to protect themselves. Well, I was driving around yesterday with the wife, when we came upon *this* poser. Can't really blame them for copying that 30s styling, though

Re: You ain't fooling anyone!
We've got (3) PT Cruisers, similar to the Lincoln, but even more similar to the 37 Tudor slantback IMHO...

That PT Loser looks like the result of a hard night running 10% ethanol in that LZ! Practice safe driving!

Re: You ain't fooling anyone!
Hey, let's not pick on the PTs; at least they're making an effort at styling. Most of the new cars I see, I want to hunt down the designers and smack them in the mouth for putting out such ugly things.

Re: You ain't fooling anyone!
All joking aside, the PT is a very reliable and fuel effecient car. My sister and brother in law have one and it gets 35 plus mpg and has good power as long as it has an occassional down hill slide to gain momentum!

Re: You ain't fooling anyone!
At least it has some style vs most new cars. I've got a GT version with a high output turbo (stock) with very minor mods running 14's in the 1/4 mile at 5800' in elevation. This little thing screams ands gets 20-25 mpg. Be careful of the PT loser stuff LOL

Re: You ain't fooling anyone!
After a period of time you could find them on the used car lots.

Re: You ain't fooling anyone!
We ordered our 1st PT Cruiser 13 years ago in 2000 for my wife, before any were available to the public. We still have it, only maintenance we have ever done are air and oil changes and a $60.00 rear hub, (has not had a tune-up yet and passes the smog test every time), everything else other than the tires and battery are still factory original with no problems.
My middle daughter drives a 2010 PT. I drive a 2009 PT I bought new for $11,800 including a Limited Lifetime Drivetrain Warranty as my construction vehicle (an 8' ladder fits inside with the hatch closed). All (3) have been 100% dependable and trouble free. PT loser ? NOT in my opinion....and like it or not, they bear a strong resemblance to my 37 Tudor Slantback, which is why I bought these in the first place. (They even have a hood prop in the same place as my 37 and if you try to close the hood with the prop in place, you will kink the hood just like our old Fords).
