More 35 Ford
I've been having trouble with pictures.Turns out all my new ones are too big.I'll see if this worked.I am a dinosaur when it comes to tech.Brick cell phone, rotary dial landline, antenna TV, pre-computer diesel trucks, wood heat, rope clotheslines, etc. When my wifes modern washing machine acts up we just plug in the old wringer machine, fill it up and wash.

Yep that worked, pictures can't be bigger than 800x600 pixels. Great looking car, what are the plans for it?

Re: More 35 Ford
I love these cars. I had a '36 3-window for several years, but it was just too cramped inside to drive a lot. Some guy offered me a lot of money, so down the road it went. Although I'd take a '35 in a heartbeat, I 've always thought the '36 was a more integrated design. The '35 and '36 3 window coupes are an almost perfect example of art nouveau design. Art Nouveau is flowing and about curves. The "straight-up" older style grille on the '35 doesn't integrate with the overall styling as well as the more rounded '36 grille. That's a minor point however; just don'`t chop it.

Re: More 35 Ford
It is in the garage right now, stripping out the trash, acorns, old mouse nests, etc.I work in that garage,so I'm around there quite a lot.Just call when you want to come over.Deerfield is kind of my stomping ground. In the summer I spend a lot of time in the Model A's driving around there.I have a lot of ancestors that are buried there. At one time there were 600 people, and five churches at the same time.603-608-6140

Re: More 35 Ford
Yes a very pretty car and cleaned up well . I'd get her mechanically A1 and drive the tits of it as is. My late father learn't to drive in a 35 flatback 4door which was an expensive car in NZ back then. Told his father he should of got a Chev!!....I nearly "disowned" him when he told me that.

Re: More 35 Ford
Ray,I had to have met you back then.My dad was builder, and bought all his lumber there. That was right about the time they stopped selling lumber.I worked at the American station,a couple hundred feet away, and my mother ran school buses out of the brick building behind that. They did go through a lot of help there,it was hard work.the Ray I remember there drove a 58 Ford four door, and I think he shared it with his brother.he might have been involved in racing too. Graeme,i haven't cleaned that car up one bit yet. Those pictures were taken as it was being winched out of it's garage. The previous owner just brought me two gallons of Ditzler acrylic laquer,Tacoma Cream. He has no idea why his father would have bought so much.

Re: More 35 Ford
Keith, thanks for posting pictures of your car. Gotta love those '35 3w coupes!! My first early Ford was a '35 3w coupe when I was 16, and in 2014 I bought my second '35 3w with the help of a fellow Fordbarner in Florida. I'm hoping to get it back on the road soon.
