Re: 1932-34 Model B Four Cylinder Group started!
Count me in. I restored a '32 roadster as a Model B in the seventies. It cost less but was harder to do than a V8. Nobody knew what the correct parts looked like at that time. I still have the car. I installed a 4 cylinder Mercruiser Marine (181 cubic inch) in the eighties and it is still there (no cutting or welding required, just 4 3/8 bolt holes for the front engine mounts). I have an original V8 under the bench. It will either get the original V8 or a Model B at some time in the future. I also have a very tired but never restored 4 cylinder 4 door sedan that is a future project.

Count me in. First order of business...sue the V8 club. Those bloodsuckers are charging us for eight cylinders when we clearly are only firing on four. Blatant extortion, unfair business practices, and discrimination against minorities!

All the cars I have found so far have been V8, would not change a Model B and do have a Model A

Re: 1932-34 Model B Four Cylinder Group started!
This should be a good learning experience, have had a B engine in this Model A for 12 yrs. Good touring engine. Have a question - need to replace the clutch/throwout bearing. Have not found any info on whether there is a difference between the A&B? Thanks - Bob
