Default My barn find (garage memorabilia)

Ok it was only my Dad's barn, but in the bottom of my Grandfather's wood working tool box was a 10 year plaque for running their Esso station in the 50's.

The interesting part is it has Grandma's name on it, not his.

I will get a nice piece of wood and remount it.

Yeah, it was a little roadside store and ESSO station, we always got to pick out a matchbox car and get an ice cream when we visited. Still remember bouncing in the all metal chairs out front.

Probably was in an ignition tune up tool kit. We had a lot of those kits in Navy for some reason, had file , set of gap or thickness guages and wrenches in a roll up olive drab case.
