What is the best way to get there over one of the two canal bridges, The Sagamore or The Bourne Bridge, I understand they are free to go over but traffic tends to back up for miles as they are two lane and built in the 30's.
OR purchase a Cape Cod Canal Tunnel Permit to save aggravation?

Looking forward to meeting you there Best way is rt 28. (35-40 mph all the way) to either bridge. I would say traffic will be light in Sept. but recommend Thurs. or early Fiday arrival. Good luck

I am definatley using my canal pass that I have had for years.

It is tricky to use but works fast.

Next year is Long Island and 2015 is CT.

Going down Thursday or Friday (morning) won't be a problem. Route 28 is the best Model A road I suppose because you can go right over the Bourne Bridge from 28.

On the other side you can take route 53 down to route 3A and go over the Sagamore bridge. Then 6A to 132 I think to 28 avoiding Falmouth.

Either way is a nice ride for sure. See you there on Thursday afternoon. Over 225 cars have registered I hear. Should be one of the biggest NE Meets ever!

5 or 6 of us comming up on Wedensday from New Jersey. Might come up through Newport and Rt. 6 up to the Cape.

Cape Codder:I'm laid up in a rehab after having 2 tumors and ENTIRE left hip removed 3 wks ago because of infection. Can't do anything for myself and on h/duty pain killer every 4 hours. Going to be like this for at least 3 months. Would love to go to the Cape next month!!

Is this model a meet open to the public. My A is a long way from driving, but I have a friend that lives in Sandwich (just over the Borne bridge) that I could stay with. I can't think of a better way to see a lot of A"s . Not many around these parts, especiality sport coupes.

Yes it is open to anyone, on Saturday there is a manditory tour to Heritage Museum IN SANDWICH. Hope you can make it!

I was happy to see my Tunnel Permit I ordered came in time, when I opened it up, look what I found, I guess we will be making two stops on the Cape now!

Flamingo Paul will be really happy as he wanted me to take pictures (Post #6)

I voided out my vehicle information they printed on the decal in the picture, I did not want all the other 1929 Green Ford Pick Ups showing up before US!
