Hi Ken. Thanks. The worst part is I feel I am more obsessed than ever and yet all my Fords are 3 hours away, with only my 2 Chevys in the garage to tinker with!

Going well. My cousin has just about gotten the cabriolet body just about ready to go on the '37 chassis. My "rebuilt '41" turned out to be a decades old rebuilt '45. So we bought a running "'40" which turned out to be a '38. Kinda bummed about that because I really wanted a '41. But it runs well and in the end as long as it is a 24 stud, it won't really matter to anyone but me. We bought another body for the former cabriolet frame, but until we have it home, I'm not saying much more than that.

I joined the Southern Ontario RG #149 in 2002, when I was 3 years into a 10 year restoration. and the National Club 3 years later. The EFV8Times magazine is top quality. I have not met any members personally, but have phone talked and corresponded through the internet with many.
I have increasing felt that I would not be able to participate in a National Meet, due to the mods that are a part of my restoration. TJ's reply has led me to believe that is now not the case. I would like to make it to a National meet, but only if I drive. Hope to meet you in the future, Byron.

I bought a stack of V-8 Times at a show and since reading thru them I've decided I'm going to join first of the year. I don't have any Flathead powered cars, but have a few parts for Flathead cars so that's good enough for me! Haha.

Byron, get it ready for Auburn, Indiana in August 2011. It's the Central National Meet and you will have a great time. Actually even if you don't get it running in time come down anyway. Once you come to a meet it will motivate you even more to finish your Ford. We are planning on coming to Auburn from California. It's a fun place (we were there in 2009) and you will have plenty to see and do while you are there.

Have been a member since 1967, 43 years all in Northern California Bay Area. Still have my first "The V8 Times" November-December 1967 Volume 4 Number 5. 19 pages measured 6 1/2" X 9 1/2". Lorin Sorensen was president. HOLD ON! page 19 under "Ford Automobiles for sale, 1936 Ford Cabrolet, original, no rust body, repainted, rebuilt motor, good tires, needs top, upholstery and detail work to complete. $1395.00 Curllsville, Pa. 16221"
