Default More Model A security

I don't even take the keys out of my cars.If I take one of these dogs to a cruise night in the rumble seat of my roadster,I almost always find a kid in the seat with him after a half hour or so.Most adults are a little more leery at first, but kids seem to know these dogs are kid lovers.I can't find the picture of three little kids in the rumble seat with one of these dogs.

The Bo and Luke Duke car security method: Keep a bag of rattlesnakes in the car. If you need to talk your way out of a car jacking, mention that you have 15 rattlesnakes, but only 14 of them are still in the sack.

I went to a burger stop on the way from Livermore up Mines Road to the top of Mt. Hamilton. That is some back woods kind of country and attracts all kinds, The burger stop is about half way, say 29 miles out from the flag pole in Livermore, so a lot of folks gather there on a weekend. Bride and I were walking into the shop and a carload of young guys came in and parked. As they got out they were bragging to some others about the large rattler they had caught. A half hour later we were leaving and I watched all of these young bucks get in their car, put on seat belts, close the doors and slowly begin to drive out of the parking lot. Suddenly all four doors swung open and it looked like a giant threw all five lads out of the car, as it rolled to a halt and they dashed in circles. Seems they had put said rattler in a bag and one of them noticed the bag was now empty. We all laughed and left as they got sticks and began probing the dark spots in the car. Great fun to be young, but dangerous.

We used to make sport of carrying a dried rattle in our pocket. Just rattle that thing & Folks went ABSOLUTELY NUTS!
BUT, when they caught your ASS, they would beat you to a PULP!

Keith,

Those appear to be Rottweilers. Having done some research on various breeds before settling on the one we have, I discovered there are several breeding lines of Rotties. Some lines apparently are big gentle cuddle hounds and others are more active and unpredictably aggressive to the point of viciously protecting their owners and property. My wife was attacked by a friend's female who luckily was on a lead with her male brother and able to be held from mauling her. Some insurance companies will not sell homeowner's policies to owners with Rottweilers in the house.

Don't mean to rain on the good times you are having with your dogs but hope they are well trained and socialized to be gentle with strangers. In today's society, there are folks just looking for opportunities to sue and the reputation of Rottweilers may leave you open to these kinds of scum. Same seems to go with owners of pit bulls.

Glen
