Default 41A-6023 Motor Mount adapters

Anyone know where I can get some of these?

All of the suppliers I have checked seem to be out.

I'd check with the more obscure old parts sources if I was looking. If you still can't find them then fabrication would be the only alternative.

Have you checked South Side Obsolete, "barnfind08" here on "The Barn"? He has an amazing assortment of parts.

I have checked with every parts supplier I know of. I haven’t checked Southside yet. I’ll check with him. Also got a couple of DM’s on here that may pan out.

Thanks!

I had a set built based on attached drawing which are specifications from original Ford part. Mine were not built exactly like originals (Flat stock bent in a “c”). Mine are 3 pieces of steel welded in a “c” at 90 degrees.

Brad ....Is this what you're looking for? These are not exactly like the Mercury pieces, but should work similarly. Speedy Bill's has 'em. Click the link BELOW! DD

The holes need to be offset a bit, like in drfromnc's blue print

Can the '50 Mercury motor mount spacers be used in this same application? I have a couple sets of those and they appear to be dimensionally very close to the drawing shown above. The obvious difference is the Mercury spacers have a pressed in stud in the upper hole that is bolted to the water pump rather than the threaded top hole of the 41A-6023 pieces.

The 50/51 Mercury spacers are different by a good bit. The Mercury water pumps were adjusted with those to fit the holes in the cross member. The Ford 41A parts were made to fit the later 1937/48 type water pumps to the early Ford style cross members for purposes of engine compatibility. The 21-stud engines could be used without them but the 24-stud engines could not.
