what model was the 799A
I was looking at the title to my 47 Ford coupe that came with the car, and it says it was a 799A. I did a quick google search, and a bunch of pics of woodies popped up. I also checked a couple of sites and their information was pretty vague.

I talked to the guy that i bought the car from and he said it wasn't the original title, and my VIN plate is completely blank.

799A is simply a prefix for the 1947 V-8 car.

Just to confuse the issue, and muddy the water, look at the legend shown in the front of the club roster... It lists the MODELS, as starting with 79A- (and NOT 799A-) |
