Default AA Ambulance parts

Does anyone know of where the larger sheet metal can be found for 1931 AA ambulances and funeral services vehicles. I need to replace some of exterior sheeting.

As rare as they are I would find it hard to believe that anything other than the firewall forward would be commercially available. As we have no idea where you are we cannot even recommend a body/restoration shop that could help.

I'm in Charlotte, NC but I'm go just about anywhere to get what I want or need. Right now I'm looking at possibly restoring a hearse and need the outer sheeting for the back. or If I can find a good box that would work too. I can find the wood interior parts.

The Elliott Museum in Stuart, FL has a number of AA hearses and ambulances. If for some reason you needed measurements or patterns I would suggest a visit down there, they were incredibly accommodating to me a couple years ago.

Thanks Tim, I'll be looking into that when the time is right.

As a side note, can anyone tell be what the cargo length is on an A Model delivery/panel van and the AA model delivery/panel van?

kclark, you need to contact member RockHillWill here on FordBarn. He is not far from you, at Rock Hill, SC. He is into metal shaping and fabricated most of the body for a Model "A" Panel Delivery that won national recognition.
