Default Model A timing gear, aluminum or phenolic

Just new to Model A world, got a 1929 roadster.
Timing gear has several cracked teeth, seeing mixed recommendations for timing gear replacement

Totally agree, the Nos fiber gears are too old, and the new production can't be trusted, buy aluminum
