Default Ignition in a Box ???

If this sounds like a rant ? It is !!!
I get this almost every week . Someone ( dont know who) sends me a distributor in a box ( fed x in this example), sometimes complete and sometimes apart with NO note , no check and no return name and address...?????????? This one is from Fed X in Torrance Calif ????????
Help me our here a little bit , i talk to quite a few people each and every day discussing these early ford ignitions and by no means remember every conversation or email?????????? Then i get to spend a hour or so trying to figure it out ???????
Beats me but thats the way it is?????????????????

Fedex can probably tell you. I tried to see what information was shown on Fedex.com from the tracking number in your photo, but could only see that it was from Torrence, CA and delivered today at 11:21 A.M. I am surprised the sender's name isn't on the label.

I had that happen to me once. I used a shipper to send a pressure plate to be rebuilt. I put an envelope with all my information in it and gave it to the shipper to put in the box. After a couple of weeks of not hearing from the rebuilder, i called them. They said they had a pressure plate, but no information on who it was from. Might be what happened in your case.

Now you will have to have an old "To Tell The Truth" TV show moment to sift through all the "It's mine" responses from Torrance.
Hope the sender sees the post, Chap

Well progress ( i guess), i put the box on Terrys bench for a rebuild. Clean blast , lube test and adjust etc. Some day someone will pop up in my email and ask "hows my distributor that i sent to you" thats just the way it works around here some days.........

For new years we cleared out a hot rod or two ( three to be exact) and built Terry his own blaster and paint room....Cuts the dust to almost zero. Evac tank unit out side garage and wall mounted ventilation fan. Terry wanted a door with windows......

Actually Jim wanted the door so he could keep an eye on Terry.

Watch out Jim! Next thing you know Terry will be asking that you pay him.
Having worked in prisons for over thirty years my first question is why is there not a "food slot" in the door? Never mind.....

it has a concealed "food pellet" drop, so everytime he finishes a distributor he gets a treat
