Default folding trunk rack parts

Hi All,

There is a chance I can get one of the original fold in half style trunk racks (will need a total resto). The dimensions are 33 long and 14 tall (from the sellers desc.). The kicker is, that it is set up for a different vehicle. My question is can I get the parts to use it on my sedan or should I just wait for one with the correct brackets.

Thanks,

Mike

Model a folding rack should measure 33x16 or you would need a special trunk to fit. Check out http://www.varcoinc.com/trunkrack.htm The bracket to mount to the car is just a piece of flat stock with a couple of bends (zig-zag) to accept the difference in width between the rack and bumper brackets. I also run a piece of flat stock to help support the weight of the trunk.

Well, thanks to another Barner I bought the one he had laying around. It needs a complete resto which is no bid deal. I just need to contact the company to see about getting some parts.
