remove quater panel, how to
hello, trying to remove quart panel from 28 phaeton , have removed all visble rivets and bolts [front, middle and back and those connected to the seat frame] and after doing so, the front half is loose but the back half is not. the item is very rusty, but i drilled thru 3 what may hve been tack welds[hard to tell due to rust] on the back half but still no loosenig
ques 1 any ideas on what i'm overlooking? or what else to do? ques 2 were there tack welds in 1928 and am i missg more other than 3? thanks |

Re: remove quater panel, how to
I am not sure on the phaeton, but on the tudor quarters I removed there were more than 3 spotwelds in the wheel well area along the subrails. I was thinking 6 of them. Look in my delivery sedan picture album. Maybe some of the pic's I posted will help. Rod
