Default rear drums

Would anyone know (silly question) what years the rear drum/hub assembly would fit on a 46/48 cars ? Thanks

Actually, the Ford rear hubs/drums from '35 to '48 will "fit" the rear of '46-'48 cars, but you will have a lug pattern change in '36-'39 drums that would require different wheels. The '35's would work for '40-'48 wheels if 5 spacer lugs were removed to allow wheels to seat properly on the face of drum, or if you used '32-'35 Ford wire wheels.
