Default Wheel back spacing question

I measured my stock 6:00x16 wheel and I come with 3-1/4" backspace, if this is correct can I use the vintique 15x6 wheel with a 3-3/4" backspace and an appropriate size tire on my car without it hitting any suspension or anything else.

I assume that you are using stock brakes? Discs can result in additional clearance problems. Add a piece of 1/2" foam or a block of wood to your existing tire and turn it to see if it clears everything. Also first look for the tires you want before you order any wheels. Its getting harder to find narrow 15" tires and if you go too wide on the tires you could have clearance issues. I wore out one front 15" tire due to bad frontend alignment. I had to purchase two new (wider) tires because the old size was not available anymore. I then also had to go to a smaller wheel set back because of wider tires and my disc brakes.

I wonder what year make and model it is? Front tires or rear tires or both?

The width of the tires you are going to use will determine if there will be clearance problems.
Until you know what size tires you are going to use on the 6 inch rims you can't determine any set back issues (if any)

First get all the critical dimensions of the tires and wheels you plan to use.
Jack your car axles up to the height they will be when sitting level on the ground with the tires and wheels you plan to use.
Then cut out a piece of cardboard the same total dia. of your inflated tire and bolt it to your brake drum. This is where you will measure your back spacing and front spacing from.
Then use the diagram on the website below to literally "build" out of cardboard what your tire/wheel configuration will be. It's not difficult to do and well worth the effort.

Remember to consider interference from tires when turning lock to lock as well as fender clearance. In the rear watch for tire rubbing on the wheel well, fender and spring perch.
Of course the easiest way is to find someone with the exact stock 41 Ford with the same tires and wheels you plan to use. Otherwise, you'll be relying on some one else's judgement unless you do the above. Too expensive to make a mistake.
