Default 1935 Pickup Rear Fender in Steel

Does anyone currently have the steel replacement rear fenders for 1935 Ford Pickup? Has anyone used them and if so how was the quality and fit?

As far as I know, they are only reproduced in fiberglass.

Chuck,
I don't know of anyone producing them. There is a guy on ebay that does really nice metal work. He reworks old ones and sells them on ebay. Pricey for sure, but that is what I ended up doing. He'll give you a pretty good credit for your old ones.

Colton Hardison makes them in steel. He also makes any repair section if you can fix yours. Check out his website.

They are expensive, whether they are repaired or new. I have a pair I am working on which will be for sale sometime in the future, but don't have a timeframe.

Amazing video on the fender beading! So what does “expensive” mean? I’m almost afraid to ask, but if your doing a one off restoration, you have to go that route, unless you have the talent to do it yourself.
I for one do not have that kind of talent. I have been looking for a decent pair of 35 coupe rear fenders. I thought I got lucky this summer and found a guy getting rid of the fenders off his 35 coupe. The body was definitely a 35, but after I brought them home and a closer examination I realized they were 36 coupe fenders.
