Default 1952 ford customline

1952 ford stick transmission and rear end what value oil /grease do they take dennis,,,,, ive been told 80/90 .... others said 140

The factory shop manual page 277 shows SAE 90 hypoid for the diff all seasons and 80 for the trans (90 in warm climates).

Make sure your choice or brand will be compatible with yellow metals. Like the brass synchro's.

An extra .02 cents worth; my 52 tranny leaks a bit from the output shaft, so i run a mix of 90 & 140.
Don't drive it in 40 or colder weather & never have any problems.
