Popout Cable
I have an original 1930-31 pop out switch and cable except the cable is broken. I only have that section connected to the head (switch) . I have also the threaded end that goes into the distributor. I have several short pieces of cable that could be TIG welded to form one cable of the correct length. What is this length? Thank you in advance for your consideration of this problem. Grant.

Re: Popout Cable
I measured 3 cables, to check for accuracy. I measure 27-3/4" of exposed cable between the head and distributor fitting. This is with the key facing up as laid flat on a table. The head sleeve is molded on an angle.

Re: Popout Cable
Do you have the round speedometer or the oval speedometer? The popout is different for each.

Bratton's, and the other vendors, have new ones.

Re: Popout Cable
I just measured my spare popout cable,it has 28 1/16th exposed cable,I'm pretty sure it is a 30 or 31,I installed it at one time in my ccpu but it was to long.
