Help identifying Emergency Brake Handle
Can anyone help me identify this emergency brake handle?
The handle itself is 20 1/2” long, about 2 3/8” longer than a Model A handle, and has the bend at the top like a 1935-36 handle. It is painted black, and looks like it was never plated. Perhaps it is from a truck. The rod through the handle has the offset bend at the bottom, and is about 20 inches long. The pawl is the 5/16” thick version used through 1937. The ratchet is 5/16” thick, and looks like it bolts to the side of the transmission on 4 inch centers. The pull rod is not adjustable, and measures 18 3/4 inches between holes. |

I too have a few similar to that one. I thought one might fit my coupe but so far have not been able to create that correct bracket for them. I will keep bending steel until I get one made hopefully.

Re: Help identifying Emergency Brake Handle
Other than the bend at the handle it looks a lot like my 32.
