Default 36 transmission sealed bearings

I can get sealed bearings for the input and output shafts on my 36 trans. Has anyone used these and would you remove the inner seal for extra lubrication from the trans oil? I know there is a drain hole in the front that can be plugged. I cant see any reason this won't work. There is a modern seal that fits the front carrier to put every thing back to "original" if I remove the seals on the bearings.

Exactly what I do, remove just the inner metal shield. Do not block any of the oil holes and use a modern seal for the front bearing retainer. Lube the input shaft a little bit of grease in the area of the seal.

I would use ONLY quality brand bearings : i.e. Fafnir (Timken), F.B.C, Federal, MRC, etc,
&Use original oil seal FORD part number: 74-7052 for front input shaft as it's metal cased /stepped &has a leather lip spring loaded & felt wiper ,
For the rear extension housing oil seal use FORD part number: 78-7052,
Same contruction/type as 74-7052 BUT NOT stepped,
These kind/type of oil seals are far better suited to the older style lubricants then modern neoprene rubber oil seals in our expereince.
