Timing
The rotor inside the distributor has a wide contact. Should the #1 terminal be centered in the rotor contact?
After using the timing pin to find tdc. If someone do I loosen the distributor body to center it?. Thanks Dick |

No. You loosen the distributor cam to change the timing. At full retard, the trailing edge of the rotor contact should line up with the #1 terminal.
