Default '36 Radio

Hi All,
Proud owner of an orig. radio. Trying to find out how and where the radio was mounted. Obviously, it needs to be within the length of the control knob cables, but just where and how were they mounted?. Anybody have an unmollested one you can take a pic of and send along?. If so, please send to [email protected]. Thanks......

There are 2 dimples on the engine side of the slope of the firewall.Thats where the bolts on the inside holding up the radio box come out.The bolts are special like a "T" head bolt. You can cut 1 side of a carrige head bolt and accomplish the same thing. The head with the controls go in the ash try hole in the dash. best i can describe. ken ct.
