Default What is your hershey location?

So Barners,
It's just a little more than 2 weeks until Hershey (Mecca). I'm making up my GOODS WANTED and VENDOR LOCATION book. Also praying to the Weather Gods!
Where are you guys located on the fields this year? What type of stuff are you selling?
Thanks,
Bruce/CT

Charlie ny at RCB 47 and 48 along side the old stadium.
Jack Evans' 2x2 intake setup, big Jon Andersons' box of goodies and what ever Alice will
allow me to jam in the motor home. Although they won't be for sale you may see Pat
Fenner, Nick Nericcio, Frank Castella, Bruce Nelson, Speedy Bill Smith (maybe), most
of the gasoline alley guys, "Flat Jack" from the midwest with my camshaft and maybe,
this is a stretch, Mac and our dear one Miss Shelly.

I'll have my fordor sedan (avatar car) parked up against the old stadium at RCA 104/05 with a few miscellaneous early V-8 parts for sale. I will be spending a couple hours each day selling raffle tickets for a very nice rebuilt 8ba FH engine at Carpenters tent in the Chocolate Field. Stop by and say hey... listen to this engine purr, buy some raffle tickets, and talk (or tell a few lies) about FH V-8's for awhile.

Hey Zach:

Yeah, I'm kind of bummed that I'll be missing it this year. Dr. Ayers has a conference she is presenting at in State College later in the month.

She asked me to go out with her and I can't take off twice in one month.

I guess there's always next year. Save some parts for me....

Hope all is well. Talk to you soon.

Tim

C4O and C4P 1-5. I'm pleased to host the Early Ford V-8 Foundation Tent in my area this year.
I will not have inventory for sale but if you want a delivery to Hershey to save the shipping, speak up now!
Mike Driskell, (35FDTN on Ebay) will be joining us this year with a load of goodies.
Various "luminaries" frequent our spaces including Dave Rehor, 32 Book author, Don Rogers, '35,'36 book author, Danny Driskell, 1935 Tech advisor for the V-8 Club, Mike McKennett, Restorations and Reproductions, Portland, Or, as well as a host of others.
A V-8 gathering spot for sure.

Clem, will you have a sofa/couch there on your spaces? If so, I will be there early Wednesday morning for a free evaluation. How much time do you normally spend with each patient?

Just saw a weather forecast for next week. Looks like rain Monday and Tuesday. Clear and sunny Wednesday through Friday.

A note to everyone who may get off rt81 at Grantville, exit 80. There are signs stating that they will be doing construction on the road (743) starting on the 8th and to expect delays. I'm guessing the construction will just be near the exit...

I'm not sure why they wouldn't realize its Hershey week and change till next week.... but none the less, keep it in mind if they continue with their plans.

Question fellas - I'm delivering a 312 Y-block to someone at Hershey, probably rolling it from one p-up to another (it's strapped to a dolly). Where is a good spot to do this either at Hershey or close by, hopefully early AM?

At the corner of Rt 741 and hersheypark drive there are a minimarket and a chain resturant with decent parking lots. Just past there to the east is an outlet mall with a huge parking lot, lotsa room.

I'm in GBL35. not many flathead parts this year, but I do have a nice 39-40 block and a pair of unusual 37-38 21 stud heads with the firing order cast on them - have a look and see if you can tell me what they are, maybe military or commercial.

743 not 741... the stores are actually near where Sand Beach meets, not 743

Well, we had a great time @ Hershey yesterday even though the skies opened up around 3 PM and didn't stop. Saw a few folks like John 35 Sedan, stopped by a few vender spots SUHRsc and a few others but many vendors who were there did not even open up. I did find some treasures and so did my buddy earl and his son and the stuff we bought was very reasonably priced. Of course there were the other things we didn't or could not buy due to high prices but it isn't stuff we could not live without.

I delivered the 312 motor OK - in the pouring rain no less - and it's off to the Fredericksburg, VA Karb Kings show on Sat to vend there.

Happy hunting and stay dry guys!
