Default e break cross shaft grease fitting

who is replacing with what ?
before i put the splash shields back on, maybe i should replace the two grease fittings on the frame.
i did a search on this topic to no avail.
proper way to remove, can i just tap for a small fitting or resize the hole and tap for larger ?
maybe there is a catalog kit.

The fittings are a press fit, hex sided (if original), if this is on a 28-30 e brake . I usually put a wrench on the fitting get it to turn some and pop it off, a little help with a screwdriver can help. Brattons sells them under grease fittings in the catalog.
