To talk about the screws that mount the tail light to the bracket. BEWARE of the reproductions sold by VINTIQUE. They are the wrong thread. VINTIQUE put the wrong thread in their tail light so their repop screws are wrong too so the fit the tail light.

Quick way to ID the T pickup box is the location of the front stake pockets, thay are futher back than an A. The T top could fold down, the A Open Cab tops did not fold. Battery box had an angled pocket in the front of the box, a was under the floor board. Bob

In early 1928 the taillight bracket was mounted to the vertical segment of the bed and the bracket hung under the bed and not to the outside as you normally see it done. This of course required a special bracket called out in the judging standards, I believe by mid year the bracket then went to the outside, My June 28 RPU has this under the bed type of bracket but of course it is very hard to see the taillight (scary)
