Manual Wiper for Pickup truck
I hope I am not posting too many questions on here!
My 29 Closed Cab I recently purchased has NO wiper. I have not been able to find the hole where the manual wiper would have gone? I am wondering if it was filled during a restoration at some point or maybe it never had one? Does anyone have a close up photo of the exact location of the manual wiper? Would like to put one on if I knew the location and can find a manual wiper. Thanks barkleydave |

Do you need the hand wiper, I have one [orginal]. If you need one call 574-221-1475, or [email protected] good luck with your truck.

Re: Manual Wiper for Pickup truck
I didn't see any pickup wiper locations or pictures in the link.
Rusty Nelson has a 29 pickup and probably will post a good picture of the wiper tube and the dimension for mounting it. |

Re: Manual Wiper for Pickup truck
Turns out I have a very nice windshield frame for the 28-9 closed cab pickup. I just took two pictures but accidentally deleted the closeup of the tube. From the outside edge of the frame that holds the glass (not the very outside lip) to the centerline for the tube is exactly 12".

Re: Manual Wiper for Pickup truck
Dave,
Have another look at your window frame. It might have been installed back to front, which means the wiper hole might be on the other side(RH) of the screen. Regards Chris Cape Town |

Re: Manual Wiper for Pickup truck
Don't buy the hand wiper most dealers offer - they are rubbish quality.

Re: Manual Wiper for Pickup truck
No tube on my frame. I am guessing at some point it was removed and a vacuum style might have been installed?
I will be looking for the tube assembly and the wiper assembly. No rush I do not plan on driving in the rain. |
