Vitameter injection on a flathead?
I have been searching for a Vitameter for my Crosley Supersport which came from the factory with one on it. I am wondering if any of you have ever seen one on a Ford Flathead as they were made to adaptor to many engine. They injected Vitane which was a mixture of lead, alcohol and water so you could run higher compression. I have attached photos. Still looking for one or parts .Thanks

Re: Vitameter injection on a flathead?
I have one on a flathead, missing the water container. Picked it up at a flea in the Chicagoland area back in the 80's. Always thought it was a neat thing to make folks ask questions.

Re: Vitameter injection on a flathead?
Great, I figured some of them showed up on flatheads. I think they were mostly all the same just different mounting bases. Thanks

Re: Vitameter injection on a flathead?
The company that made these things made them for aircraft in WWII. I believe it was P51s that had the water injectors. Somewhere I have the instruction manual for automotive use.
