65 Mustang windshield clips
I'm getting ready to have the windshield put back in my Mustang and have about a half dozen somewhat large clips in a bag marked windshield and have no idea where they go. Have all the small clips that hold in the stainless trim in place. Can't see where they go. Possibley under the edge of the new dash pad? Can't find a picture anwhere in my reffernce books or on line. Unable to post pictures here.

Re: 65 Mustang windshield clips
If you GOOGLE 65 MUST FRONT WINDSHIELD you should get all the info (incl tech help) needed.

Re: 65 Mustang windshield clips
65 stainless trim clips screw on while 66 pushes on small pins already welded to the frame. Make sure you have the 65 clips in place before you put the windshield in, or you will be taking it back out! On the inside there is only the two long pieces of trim for the dash pad. If you could somehow get a picture, I could probably tell you where they go.

There are two other small clips with no screw holes and a piece or hard ruber attached. Should have taken pictures as I took it apart. Mayby upholstery guy who is putting the headliner in tomorrow can figure it out. Got all the clips for the exterior stainless in place. These go somehow on the bottom on the inside. I've spent hours on google and couldn't find them. |
