My 48 came with that same heater and knob set-up in a box of bits, its a mottled tan. I did not bother to install it as I won't drive it much over winter & in any event the engine is a "bloody big heater" in these cars

Looks good but the fan motor is louder than the engine!!

After a couple of plumbing issues I have it working, very toasty in the cab now!!
