40 Ford rear hubs
I am usually on the Model A forum, but I am building a hotrod using a 40 Ford Banjo rear end. One of my hubs is pitted in the bearing race.Is there a sleeve that can be used to fix this hub, or is there some fix short of replacement. Thanks in advance for your information.

I have repaired quite a few of those hubs over the years. I grind the hub down in the crank grinder, make a sleeve, have it hardened, hone the ID to fit the resized hub, press it on and grind it to finish size. I Harden them to 65RC. |
