What someone did on my car is to swap the handles so the locking one is on the other side. I've actually been meaning to switch them back ever since I got it.

What body style?
Where would you get a locking handle for that side? Simply just turn it upside down?
Slant bodied cars would be a challenge

What year ?? On my 31 I bought an aftermarket door handle with lock from Snyders and
installed on the drivers door and it works fine and I don't have to crawl over the seat to lock and un lock.
