It's not a '36 but, my '39 Ford Convertible Sedan (3,561 produced & last year for that body style for Ford) is for sale if anyone is interested...

The book I have, "90 Years of Ford" also agrees with Gary Tosels # 5601 total.
The CS was about $170 more than the Phaetons, because of the roll up windows and a couple other things, made for a more weather-tight interior. .

Slightly off topic, but in 2010 my dad posted a video from the short time when he had both a Phaeton and a Convertible Sedan. He really wanted the Phaeton but found the CS first and of course found the other car shortly afterwards. Feel free to reach for the mute button. I inherited the Phaeton in 2013 and drove it three times this week. Twice after dark. I see a lot more Phaetons than CS's at shows and gatherings.
