Default Not Mart's Garage. Me, Mrs Mart and the dog in Derbyshire.

Big time off topic.
Completely different to my usual content. But maybe we all need a breath of fresh air now and again.
I wondered if you might enjoy a nice little quickie from me, especially if you're getting cabin fever with the current ongoing situation. Industrial heritage, ruined water mills and beautiful scenery. What's not to like.

Mart.

Mart here in MD. USA. We have quite a few old water driven mill sites some have been preserved , and some destroyed for progress. There are many roads with the word MILL in the name with no remains of the mill . Great pictures , the site is probably older than any of ours SUNSHIne MD..

Very cool Mart.
Thanks for sharing. It would be cool to know what purpose they built all that.
We've many falls here in the U.P. too. Not a lot with old mills. Some though.

Very nice. Another one of my hobbies is geneology. A lot of my ancestors came from England. Would be nice to visit the area someday.

Thanks Mart, being in lock down the only running water fall we hear is when we turn the water faucet on. Be safe.

Thanks Mark. It was lovely. Don't expect we'll be back for a while. Yeah, we're doing our best. Hope all is well with you and Mel.

Very nice video Mart!....Thanks!....but you didn’t introduce Mrs. Mart.....is she camera shy??
We have many old saw mills here in New England....I like seeing old industrial buildings and imagine what it was like when they were operating back in the day......Mark

Mart,
Thanks for the video. I was ready to grab my fishing pole.
I've only been to England one time. I worked for a UK based company for 20 years. They were based in Littlehampton. My wife and I were able to see a bit of London too. It was a bit nippy riding outside on one of those double decker buses in Feb.
I loved all the stonework on the castles, churches, streets, etc. that we had time to see.
Cheers,
Doug
