column question on 1930 Model A
I recently had the chance to look at what i told is a 1930 model A ford coupe completely original. Its was my friends grandfathers and gave it to his dad before he died. Like i said its completely original, and the only gauge in it is a oil pressure gauge. Having had no experience with vehicles that old being more of a late 40s early 50s truck guy.
I had a question about the two levers on the column and what they are used for? i found online, timing advance? but couldn't find much more about them or how to use them. I was wondering if someone could give me a free education about the levers and how to use them or a site that directs me to more information about them Thanks |

There is something absoultely fantastic about an all original car. Please feel free to ask any and ALL questions. If you have not already done so please look up a local club in your area you will find there are no better people than Model A and T people. On the front page of the Model A forum you will find a heading; "Model A/AA Ford Websites...Can YOU add to the list?" Go down to "RESEARCH DATA AN TECHNICAL ARTICLES" You will find many sites with great technical information.
