90 degrees F. at 7.30 pm. Normal weather for us at this time of the year. Looks like some rain is on the way which will give us some respite from the heat. Unfortunately when the rain clears and the sunshine returns the humidity goes through the roof and makes the heat unbearable. (any excuse to have another drink)

I'm sure you know this, Al,
Here in California, when there's low FOG, continually, for 2 weeks & at 38 or 39 degrees, the fog FREEZES like MINI-SNOWFLAKES & it's COLDER than being in our REAL Mountain Snow

Don't know if it's any kind of record but we had 70* last night and rain with flooding this morning here in the Arkansas Ozarks.

Looks to be a dusting of snow here in SE Ks. Could use a good freeze, the pastures are slop and cattle miserable.

Upon second look, it's all sleet and still coming down.

At least 24 dead in Texas; many in the Dallas area. Some cars were blown off of the Bush Turnpike (Hwy 190).

Every time I think I may want to move to a warmer climate, things like the Texas tornados, the flooding in OK & MO come up and make me think a little deeper. Today on the way to work it was a balmy 27°, and although the heater in my work car doesn't work, it was still quite nice.

Got down to 8 deg last night. High of 24 predicted for today, but doubting it will make it. Temp at noon is 16 and very cloudy. Rod

Here is our front street in 1928. In front of Robertson's Restaurant is where I would sell my Grit, the reason why I'm not in the photo is because...I'm the one taking the photo:

here is our front street today....I'm not in the photo selling my Grit because.......I can't swim very well.
