Default Rear seat installation

Hi everyone, what secures the rear seat back and bottom to the car in a 30 Town Sedan? These hooks were bolted to the woodwork but not anywhere near where the seat back brackets are located.

JSRTUDOR asks if these Hooks are original and where they are supposed to be attached?

Your hooks do not look like mine. I’ll have to get a picture for you. My seat frame has a notch with a metal bar on the top of seat frame to accept the body hook and the lower bar of the seat frame has a hole for a screw to hold the frame to the body. I hope this makes sense

My town sedan had hooks like Kingo's. Yours are something that a former owner made out of strap steel and are not correct. I used to hate to remove the back seat. Very difficult to get back in the correct position. Ed

I know they are incorrect, but how did the correct ones install? Any pictures of how the seat attaches to the brackets and where the brackets attach to the body?

Can you post pics of the hooks on the body that the seats attach to?

Ah, there's supposed to be hooks! Does the rear seat back supposed to have a wood frame?
