The answer to your exact question in in the Judging Standards published jointly by the two national Model A clubs (mafca.com and modelaford.org). You should buy a copy as it will be useful in the future. Even if you are not building a vehicle for judging in general the more original a vehicle is the more it will be worth. Many times the correct part of finish costs the same as the incorrect one. Another suggestion, you posted your question in a forum intended for questions to the editors.
