This is a 68B Cabriolet passenger door picture of a slot with a 3 way metal thing screwed with just one screw.

I can't find a replacement part as I don't know what to look for, as I see rubber bumpers advertised, but nothing so far with the three metal sides attached in the door category? The rubber parts I have ordered don't seem to fit either.

Doors are metal covered wood type.

Thanks for your advice. I checked Bert's, Mac's, Snyders, Brattons, but just not seeing this type yet. Maybe if someone with a Cabriolet could take a picture of what is supposed to be there it would help a lot.

Is it possible that that piece is home-made and is covering the holes for the correct dovetail-Bratton's part # 30890?

it is NOT home made parts, that is the retainer to hold a rubber bumper for the door.

the part number is A-191442-B you are better off buying the whole door rubber bumper kit.

This is correct part for your
Cabriolet. It holds the rubber bumper as stated .

Thanks for your help. I see the kits for door bumpers and there are two larger rubber pieces like Bratton's #33280.

Do these glue into the three way door bumper clip? Do you bend the sides of the metal to hold it on? Just not seeing yet how it attaches?

Thanks for the pictures and that is a nice looking car! I still have not started mine yet but the engine is rebuilt now.

Does the rubber glue onto the clip?

Mine is just pressed in by hand. Friction fit.
