Hub cap identification
Hey everyone. I picked up a bunch of Model A parts, engines, etc., and got a bunch of hubcaps in the deal as well. Could anyone help me ID the years so I can properly label them when I go to sell them.
Thanks so much! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Re: Hub cap identification
The very first picture showing all of the caps has a stack of 3 wide caps on the far right and two to the left, one of which is in the top picture asking for identification. On the far right stack, the V8 appears to be raised which would make them 37 and not 36. The top picture used for identification is from the second stack that had 2 caps, and I cannot quite tell if the V8 is raised. I have a set of the ones on the far right that I bought maybe 20 years ago up in Belleville. Someone spent a lot of money and had them chromed. I do not think they are OEM Ford, but I could be wrong. The OEM Ford 37 hubcaps I am more familiar with have a pressed on stainless center on a steel hubcap.

Re: Hub cap identification
The wide five hub caps are 1937. The V8 is pressed out. These are an after market cap, but are desirable.

Re: Hub cap identification
i hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but my experience has been that hub caps do not sell unless they are perfect. we all have bad ones, and are therefore looking for good ones! i see one of yours is properly priced at 50 cents
