For a really good wiper setup I would spend some extra money and get the wiper kit made for your truck from Newport Engineering.

I did a dual wiper conversion on a 41 cab, had to cut the glove box down by half to put the wiper on ps. I think this one came from carpenter or drake. If I had to do over again I would not.

I got the item from Drake and eliminated the arm that would go through the glove box. So only the driver side works. Doesn't matter because I never put wiper blades on anyway.

Rebuilding an original vacuum wiper may be a simple solution. Kent at Clean Sweep in Redmond OR did one for my '40, and it works great.

I used a Speedway unit in my pickup. It works well when I need it. I set it up to stop when the switch is turned off. I like it parked at the cowl. If the built in park feature is used it will park against the center windshield bar.

I did the same on my '41 pickup. Couple that with a little Rain X and it works like a champ.
