I bet I could find a "good old boy" down the road in Greenwood that can weld up a kit to keep the water out of your cab. Southern boys put their odd skills to use when vivid imaginations are required.

Other than driving over the top of traffic on the freeways in So. Cal, ... I never did understand the point of doing something like that.

And its brothers. I know the "snow car" was built back when it was just an old Model A but, dang, did they have to use a cabbie?!

My solution, ... Sell it dirty

Nah, leave it dirty - the more, the better. Not my thing but mudders consider dirt a badge of honor showing their truck made the run. But I doubt the pictured one has seen much mud.

Makes me think of the ending scenes from the “Cars” Disney movie, where the Sargent truck tells the shinny 4by4’s to drop and give him twenty miles, and the one truck starts complaining “Man! I got dirt in my rims!”

Yes, it has to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
I thought ape hangers were for drying out your arm pits, but this will dry out more than just your arm pits.

Bill,

They could use it on the 101 Freeway which is closed this morning. There are mud slides in the Thomas Fire burn area between Santa Barbara and Ventura after this morning's rain storm.

The first time I'd seen that was when I was in 10th grade, and my girlfriend's dad showed me a picture of him standing on the seat of his AJS 500 with his hands outstretched. He was more sensible when I knew him though.

With tires that large, you'd think they would have a much lower speed ratio.
