Default car for sale sites

For a while now I have been trying to contact people selling cars on various websites but never get replies from sellers. Seems like ads with great prices are the ones you never hear back from. So is it sold or what? If so why is the ad stated as being new? What do the sites selling the cars have to do with anything, seems like no one is in charge. Signed frustrated.

I had similar experiences. I think that some of these sites will post ads for sellers and filter those who inquire about something and then get buyer and seller together. Like a consignment thing. I called one of the sites and all four cars that I asked about had already been sold! The site wasn't even aware of the sales.

Like Dennis said, don't waste your time. YMMV

I have had great experiences with WeBeAutos.com .
I have used their service and they handled all the advertising and pre-qualified buyers, handled transaction and money transfer and even coordinating the vehicle pick-up. All for 5%. Here is where the link gets weak, there is no cost if a party sells the vehicle on his own, even when contracted with them. I can see if someone sells their car on their own that they may not notify the consignment broker of the sale and that can be the reason for listed/posted vehicles to be found out later as already sold.
Sometimes common courtesy ain't common... Chap

Common courtesy and common sense seem to be uncommon these days and so far we've been unable to teach or legislate either.
