At least we know a bonnet is a woman's hat, a boot is a man's shoe, a dicky is, well, not a seat, and a saloon is where we drink our cold beer. BTW, the red car on your Model A tire page is a cool little hot rod but it's a 32, not a Model A. |

Ha!
You guys are going to have to come on a fact finding mission and test our beer in the name of science. Yep That is a B. the ones above it are my cars. I do something called trialing with the Vintage Sports Car Club. where we drive our cars as far up a muddy hill as we can. Great fun. Also one of the pictures has the 2 presenters from a program called CAR SOS, who i get involved with now and again. this is some film of the driving my 2 door saloon https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=369827910534846 (tudor Sedan! i mean really) I thought you guys might like to see a film i made with my Kids in Austin 7's (sort of and English version of a model A but smaller.) Vintage Top Gear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jFqB4M8_1c If you enjoy it please share it or click like. |

Re: short model a film
One of you mentioned cousins, you are probably more correct than you imagine. Kids got the ancestry DNA kit for my birthday, so far I have 135k DNA matches. DNA says I'm 85% England, 15% Scotland Ireland. I have matches in England, France, Scotland, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and every state in the US. One grandfather on my mothers side, sir Richard Cox, born 1499-1500 wrote something about Ann Boylen, was dean of Cambridge, thrown in prison by one of the queens then tutor to prince Edward and then on his privy council after he became king. Some time after arriving in the new world and a few generations later the family decided to become peasants.
There's no telling how many of us here share DNA. But yes we did get smart enough to drive on the right side of the road. |

Re: short model a film
Figures the auto beer bar would be manufactured in Milwaukee !
I have been to English/Irish styled pubs in Wisconsin and Minnesota, where the beer is served 'cooled' as opposed to refrigerated. Those 'import' beers are much more flavorful than the standard American brands, although micro-breweries offer much more taste. I am a lager style fan myself, but iI do treat myself to micro-brews occasionally. Also, I have heard that our packaged tea here in the states pales in comparison to European teas. A trip to Europe is on the bucket list, and am trying to squirrel away enough to make that happen at some point. Cheerio and Ein Prosit ! Stew
