That usually means your pictures are too large. Poor choice of words. If you have trouble downsizing your pictures post what hardware and software you are using and ask for help. As you can see by the attached the servers are fine.

You can post pictures you have on your computer,

OR you can post pictures that are on the internet that are in one of your on line photo albums or any place else on the net.

To post pictures that are on the internet, click on the icon shown here...

That will open a dialog box...

Copy and paste the URL of the picture you want to post into the dialog box and hit OK.

To post a picture from you computer, click on this icon...

...that will open this dialog box...

Hit "Choose File". That will take you to your file finder on your computer. Navigate to the file where the picture is you want to post and select it. Then hit "upload".

I just tried both ways and they work fine.

I experience this on another forum not related to cars. I wonder why, oh why, in this age of apps and programs that do everything you can imagine, but can't seem to tell us why it won't accept a picture. Whoever wrote the software for the forums just didn't take the programming to the final step.

I simply upload my pictures to www.photobucket.com then I copy the IMG CODE of the picture from photobucket and paste it here. No resizing necessary.

Photobucket screwed over many people, including me, so I won't have anything to do with them. Uploading pictures from my own computer works fine.

I am with Tom on this one. There are far too many missing pictures in posts called up from the archives with photo buckets name on them that I would never trust them. There is no reason not to post directly to fordbarn.

For a couple...

Posting from your computer direct to FordBarn uses FordBarn's bandwith (storage capacity). Posting from an on line photo album doesn't.

If you post from your computer, size is restricted (because you are using a Barn resource that is limited), only a thumbnail shows and must be clicked to view at a decent size. Posting from an on line album there is no restriction on size and it shows in the post the size you selected.

There are many on line albums besides PhotoBucket.

I don't know of another photo album service that has done what PhotoBucket has done. I won't use PhotoBucket either, but don't paint all such services with the same brush.
