Default Delco 1 wire alternator

Just spoke to FSI regarding Electronic Ignition. (we are installing on a AA)

They recommend the Delco single wire 12V.

Anyone know where to find the right one with bracket to fit the AA

Thanks

SNYDERS or BRATTONS ford parts has all the components for the 12 volt Delco conversion.

Don't know for sure because I don't have one, but isn't the alternator that the vendors sell a Delco one wire? Or a close facsimile? Sure looks like one.

Ruth,

They look to me like 10-Si models that have been converted to 6 volt Pos ground one wire.

I had a local shop convert a 12-Si some years ago.

Be sure you go to negative ground so you are in sync with the rest of the cars and modern plug in electronics. For the record, I hate the way alternators look in a Model A engine compartment.

I agree. That's why I went with the 12v PowerGen.
