Roadster pickup topping
I want to make a new top for my 1930 roadster pickup. Can anyone recommend a supplier for the material? doesn't have to be exactly as original, I would just
like something that is not too modern looking. Thanks |

Re: Roadster pickup topping
Why not just go down to the local auto upholstery shop and see what they have.
I did that for the inside roof material on my 28 ccpu, they had a big range of stuff. Lawrie |

Re: Roadster pickup topping
Labaron Bonney has the material or they will make the top for you.

Re: Roadster pickup topping
Labaron Bonney had good stuff, but they're kind of expensive. There's a guy in Arkansas that makes upholstery kits, he does a good job. But I can't think of his name, I think it might be lee chaterton... Maybe somebody can verify this. He does a really good job and he's cheaper. Otherwise I would go to a local upholstery shop and see if they can do it. A place that advertises "headliners" or "convert able tops" will have lots of different materials, so you can pick out what you like and they will do it. And it'll probably be cheaper doing it this way.

Re: Roadster pickup topping
How about a boat canvas shop? They might not stock the dark colors, but might have resources...
