Default '35 ford pu cowl vent

Other than the ratchet, where does the other end of the spring attach to
under the dash?

I took mine apart to repair and grease long ago, so I'm trying to remember....I think one end hooks to the handle bracket, a stud with a round cap on the end, and the other end goes into one of 2 holes on the ratchet. I'm at work so can't actually see it sorry.
