Been searching the parts suppliers for a brake light switch connector
But have come up empty.
Were there just separate connectors on each wire, if so...anyone have a source? Thanks |

Is this the female bullet-type connector? If so, NAPA has crimp connectors, but there are several diameters of bullets, measure first. On F-1's AFAIK they were 90-deg individual female bullet connectors.

The hydraulic one? Should be able to get them almost anywhere. I know LMC Truck has them. There is also a side clip on type that has both wires together.

Not sure where your looking! Here's four from MAC. Any auto parts store should also have several types.

LOL, I can't believe the times a slight difference in the search wording gets completely different results! I'm sure all of the above have them if you knew what they were calling them.

No, not a fahnestock (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahnestock_clip)
MACs has this one, not sure it fits all years, but it has a nice boot on it. http://www.macsautoparts.com/store/b...Product_Viewed

Does it have the boot like MACs? Do you have a P/N?

Re: Been searching the parts suppliers for a brake light switch connector
Mine were push on Ross, they didn't have them "on the rack", but the counter guy just went in the back and grabbed me two.. he said 5 bucks, handed him a finn and walked out.
My NAPA was bought out a bit back...so probably, maybe..something the new outfit doesn't carry, or didn't inventory. I have to go back Monday for other stuff...give me a reminder, and I'll ask the guy if there's a NAPA number for you. Oh...mine were 90 degrees...I had crawled under there with a BL switch from my '57 Chevy PU, saw it was the same pins on it, took that in with me...once he gave them to me, I just knew I had several around somewhere, those switches use to fail on me uite often, but always came with the connectors as well...fading memory..lol! |

Re: Been searching the parts suppliers for a brake light switch connector
I had a connector on my '41 but when the switch went bad and I bought a new one the terminals on the switch were a different size, connector wouldn't fit, so had to start all over again.
