Default antique car guy

Can anyone tell me how to remove the steering wheel on my model A? I purchased a new harness and don't want to do any damage removing the steering wheel..Thank You!!

The harness attaches at the BOTTOM of the steering column on the engine side. No need to remove the wheel unless you're replacing the horn rod.

Yep, no need to remove the wheel to replace the wiring harness. As long as the retainer "C" clip at the bottom of the column doesn't fall out (like mine did) There shouldn't be any reason to mess with anything up top. If you need to remove the wheel, get the right tool, less chance of damaging it. Mine was brittle & a chunk fell out when i leaned too much on it

RE pulling horn rod; Depends on what body style you have. Sedan yes, coupe style not so much.

More work yes, but I still don't think you have to remove the steering wheel.
